The Calling
Esperanza Ministries began in 2002 from a simple desire to follow where God was leading. After years of serving through their business and participating in mission work in Central America, Jerry and Margarita Hart sensed God calling them to serve people facing hardship closer to home. They responded by leaving their business behind and establishing Esperanza Ministries.
Over the years, the ministry has grown and changed as God has opened new doors. Today, Esperanza walks alongside seniors, caregivers, families, and individuals experiencing grief, loss, isolation, and difficult life transitions. Through chaplaincy, coaching, practical support, and spiritual care, we seek to offer compassionate presence while honoring the faith and dignity of every person.
More than two decades later, the heart of Margarita remains the same: to faithfully serve the people God places before us, offering hope, dignity, and compassionate presence in the difficult seasons of life.
