Esperanza provides a safe and caring place from which to serve the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of our Hispanic neighbors. In the spirit of Jesus Christ, we offer help, healing, and hope to Johnson County’s Hispanic community.
Our medical and dental clinics are staffed entirely by volunteer healthcare professionals. Our dental clinic serves all indigent in the county regardless of heritage or race. We also offer HIV and STD testing at no charge for anyone in the county.
We seek to provide a medical home for Johnson County’s uninsured Hispanic families. We desire not only to care for the acute medical needs of our patients but also to provide preventive health care, care and monitoring of chronic conditions, health and wellness education, spiritual and emotional counseling, and to connect them with relevant community resources.
We are motivated by God’s love for each person; we serve without regard to any individual’s religion or creed.

Statement of Faith

“We will uphold and stand on the principles outlined in scripture and we will use scripture to help us discern direction for every decision made in the ministry. Our primary goal is to help our clients come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as savior and Lord of their life. We will do this with help from our church partners. In partnership with churches we will coordinate resources to help facilitate development of godly character classes and workshops for parents, youth and children. youth and children. We believe that every soul is sacred and has been weaved into our ministry by Gods perfect will. We cherish every client and volunteer that is involved in our ministry so we seek relationship with them through Jesus our Lord.”
